Quite Rare. Syracuse University Basketball 1975 Eastern Regional Champions Pewter Paperweight Medallion. 3 5/5″ Diameter x 3/16″ thick. Black felt on underside. As New condition. Syracuse, NY: Syracuse University Hardwood Club, 1975. A sturdy, flawless paperweight honoring the ascension of the 1975 Orange basketball team to the East Regional Championship of the NCAA Basketball National Championship, which sent them to the Final Four that year. At the time, there were just 32 teams in the tournament first round. One of the rarest of pre- Big East ‘Cuse basketball souvenirs (try to find another!). Mascot shown on this medallion paperweight is the Saltine Warrior – the Orange mascot that preceded the current mascot, Otto the Orange. Ships in stout protection, of course. LokshlfLR
