Norwalk, CT: Postal Commemorative Society, 1982. The April 14, 1982 First Day of Issue Cover, in folio, for the USPS stamp bearing the Eastern Bluebird and Rose (New York State Bird and Flower). Folder (folio) is quarto, deep russet with metallic red front cover imprinting. Inside is the First Day of Issue Cover itself, canceled in Albany, NY, with text beneath and a laid-in message from W.J. Strasser, director of the Postal Commemorative Society. Fine; tiny closed tear at top of folder (zoom on scan of cover), otherwise flawless. Original protective cardboard mailing envelope is also included, though it has ,of course, been opened and shows modest dust. A scarce philatelic Americana item. Ships in a sturdy box, of course; not a bag. LPR47
