Dutch Boy and Dutch Girl vintage Lobeco paired wall figurines. Lobeco, Hong Kong, undated but circa early 50s. 7 3/4″ Tall, longest dimension. Ivory-colored flexible plastic figurines over deep red fine flet, gilt painted ornate plaster ornate framing. Near Fine; not new by any stretch, but no notable flaws. See all scans. Yes, this kind of thing was really hung on some walls back in the day, and can certainly still be thus displayed – if you have happen to have a room the decor of which is a match for these. Hmm. Like Ashleigh Manor in Taiwan, Lobeco has been a multiple-location purveyor of such slightly off-key stuff for decades, back into the dim recesses of…well, the mid-twentieth century.
