Very Good, and not too far from Near Fine. See images and description. Czechoslovakia: uncredited manufacturer, circa 1955. Vintage kitsch; 1950’s era tourist souvenir glazed ceramic cigarette case. Made in Czechoslovakia, though no city is named. It was sold, however, at a tourist souvenir shop in Maniwaki, Ontario to someone who, it may be presumed, was planning to take it home to place proudly on the coffee table – until that person was overruled regarding that notion. 4 9/16″ x 3 7/16″ x 1 3/4″, ceramic, peach color with lid illustration of cigarettes and matches, all glazed except bottom and interior. 9 ounces. Very Good, with just small blemishes at exterior and interior, some apparent ground in dirt on bottom, which may be removable. See all images. Does not appear to have been used much over the decades, which, one may say, stands to reason. Probably nearly unique, by now. Ships in a stout, protective box, of course.
