See all images. The stage premier of a cycle of works based on Helen Keller’s autobiography, The Story of My Life”. All were named “The Miracle Worker”, after Mark Twain’s description of Anne Sullivan as being just that for her work in enabling Helen Keller to blossom and live a fulfilling life. In this stage premier, Anne Bancroft played Anne Sullivan, Patty Duke played Helen Keller, and Patricia Neal played Kate Keller. Quite scarce with the ‘Opening Night’ seal.
